Resource villages are introduced in the Everwinter Glacier, and continue on to the Burning Sands and Fire Peaks. They can be catered with a Loot Warehouse and increase resource production for the Castle Lord who owns it. Besides outposts and attacks, they are one of the most common causes for war for theft. They are commonly referred to as RVs.
