Level 1 to 10

Only train macemen or crossbowmen you are training because they are more efficient. Use high defence troops the people that you are attacking are powerful. Only build things that you need to build for quests. Only if you don't have enough cash get spearmen. Do not give to your alliance and do not donate to people.

Level 11 to 23

Train anything apart from spear men and if you have barracks level 3 do not train macemen train swordmen. They are good price but not powerful and are known as the worst soldiers. Only build thing for quests unless it is a farmhouse so your troops don't die. Only donate gold to your alliance and only donate small amounts (100 to 250) of wood or stone.

Level 24+

Try to find missions that give you Halberdiers, Two-handed Swordsman, Heavy Crossbowman, and Longbowman at the post. Build you supplies up as fast as possible, and attack castles if you feel like you can beat them.

Currency

Cash is the normal currency which you would usually use to give to alliance or donate to someone else. Cash you can get from: tax, quests, missions, daily quests and people donating to you. You can spend cash on things like traders or forgeing.

Wood

Stone

Stone is a sub-currency which you might use to donate to your alliance. Stone you get from: stonecutters, missions, quests people donating to you and daily quests. You spend stone on upgrades, building and events.
