Veteran Crossbowman are strong ranged troops that provide an improvement on the Heavy Crossbowman and the the counterpart to the Veteran Marauder. They are unlocked by researching them in the research tower, but can be obtained through daily tasks and by completing various missions at the mercenary camp.
